"People are easily blinded by fame. They see money instead of a person. I've seen it happen to a friend of mine who was in a band." She says but sadness crept in because this friend wasn't alive anymore. It still held true.
She stays politely quiet, sipping her wine while he orders. He keeps flattering her with his behavior and promises to the point she doesn't know if the warmth will ever leave her cheeks.
"I think I'll have more time to cook than you or the band." At least she hoped because if she didn't that meant someone was hurt. "It's no trouble. The nurses take turns cooking for the patients at the hospital."
